Mooresville, NC 1/4/09- Crooks Racing Inc., owned and operated by Gary Crooks, in association with Lonnie Sommerville Racing and Tex Motorsports Marketing is proud to announce a two day short track chassis seminar on Saturday March 20th and Sunday March 21st  at the Coastal Inn in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. The instructional seminar will focus on in depth racecar setup for the short track racer. Roll centers, front end geometry, bump stop setups, and track tuning in addition to much more will all be covered over the two day event.

“Putting on a seminar has been something that I have thought heavily about over the last few years but with the tough economic times hitting the racing community now seems like the perfect time to give racers an affordable and economical avenue to the knowledge I’ve gained over thirty years of short track racing,” stated Crooks.

The seminar will be a first of its kind and will not only feature instructional information but each attendee will be automatically registered for several seminar giveaways courtesy of the various vendors taking part in the activities. ARP Bodies, Gale Force Suspension, Innovative Suspensions and Tex Motorsports Marketing are just a few of the current vendors taking part in the inaugural Crooks Racing seminar with more expected to be added over the coming months.

“So far the feedback we’ve had has been overwhelming so that leaves me pretty excited about the whole deal,” added Crooks. “We are working hard to make this not only a total learning experience about getting your racecar to handle better, but with adding the giveaways and other things we’ve got in the works it’s really going to create a town hall style atmosphere where everyone can ask questions and be involved so when they leave the place they feel like they’ve gained something by coming, and at the end of the day that’s what it’s all about.”

Registration for the 2010 seminar is currently underway via the Crooks Racing website at www.crooksracinginc.com. Attendees can register two different ways, either by printing off and filling out the downloadable registration form or by registering completely on the Crooks racing website by clicking the PayPal button. The cost of the seminar for one team member is $549.95 or you can save by registering two individuals for $995.95. Registered attendees will receive a complementary catered lunch each day and for those who need accommodations the Coastal Inn has reserved a block of rooms at a special discount rate of $99 per night when mentioning you are attending the “Crooks Racing Short Track Seminar”.
