Crew chief and team manager where Gary is responsible for
maintenance, preparation, and setup of race vehicles. The
team competes in various super late model events across the
U.S. and full time on the Carquest Maritimes Pro Stock tour.

2005 – Currently: Just-N-Uff Racing-Justin Drawdy -- Ft. Pierce, Florida
Crew chief and team manager where Crooks is responsible
for maintenance, preparation, and setup of race vehicles.
The team competes in various super late model events across
the Southeast U.S. along with some part time starts in the ARCA Remax series.

Currently: R/T Racing-Travis Kittleson -- Cocoa, Florida
The team raced a full scheduled in the ASA National
Tour in 2003 and eight races in both 2002 and 2001 while
also running a busy schedule of super late model races. As
crew chief and team manager Crooks was responsible for
everything from maintenance, preparation, setups, hiring and
managing of crew, training of pit crew, ordering parts and
more.

March 2001: Brian Smith Motorsports-Brian Smith -- Mooresville, NC
Crew chief and team manager where Crooks was
responsible for maintenance, preparation, setups, training
of pit crew, ordering parts and changing the front tires.
The team competed for a full season in 2000 on the NASCAR
All Pro Series tour, with part-time schedules in 1999 and
2001

S&S Motorsports-Sean Studer

Concord, NC
Crew chief that was responsible for the building,
maintenance, and setups of two racecars, along with building
an in house Nationwide car as well. The team raced a full
season in 1997 and 1998 in the NASCAR All Pro Series, with
part-time schedules in 1999.

1996 – 1997: Leading Edge Race Cars -- Concord, NC
Fabricator and body hanger for various types of steel
body racecar including NASCAR Camping World trucks, NASCAR
Nationwide cars and ARCA RE/MAX Series cars.

1995: King Racing -- Pictou, NS
At King Racing, Crooks fabricated, built and maintained
the team’s fleet of Nascar Camping World east series cars
and super late models, along with being the rear tire
changer.

1991: Crooks Racing -- Dartmouth, NS
Became owner of Crooks Racing after taking over his
father’s business of building and repairing racecars. Gary
also began racing himself when he built and raced his own IMCA Modified and over the next four years, winning several
different features and honors including Rookie of the Year.

1983 - 1991: MacKenzie Motorsports -- Dartmouth, NS
Was
a part-time crew member on nights and weekends, maintained
and prepared two super late models al while still attending
school and working with Crooks Racing.

1981 – 1991: Crooks Racing -- Dartmouth, NS
Started working at father’s business, where Crooks
learned how to build and maintain all types of racecars.
